 Product champion/customer services advisor

Do you have personal experience of baby carrying and/or reusable nappies? Want to shout about it? If you are knowledgeable and would like to spread your passion working in a small business with a close-knit team, then this could be the perfect role for you...! We are looking for a product champion to actively promote and educate about our products, and combine with admin within customer services, to cover the following areas:

Promotion & education

  • Continuous training particularly in babywearing and keeping up to date with nappy alliance and environmental measures in UK.
  • Work with nappy libraries and sling libraries and councils to promote Close.
  • Active on social media accounts, responding and approving comments across company social media pages and commenting on marketing campaigns, promotions and competitions
  • Educating and working with our customers to promote good babywearing and effective use of reusable nappies, including dealing with all customer enquiries & problems by email, web chat, social media.
  • Work with marketing dept to develop and film educational, fun reels for social media and website.
  • Blog about what’s going on in the company/environment/baby world.
  • Identify Close product related discussions on social media networks and provide appropriate responses

Admin

  • Processing any orders required for replacements, returns, nappy/sling libraries and councils.
  • Actioning any customer requests for cancellations, changes to orders etc.
  • Dealing with any admin issues for discount codes, council discount codes, Real Nappies for London etc
  • Occasional help with packing of orders when the warehouse is super busy.
  • Organise and attend regular babyshows and any other events to promote our products.

Your attributes:

  • A confident communicator, with excellent English & grammar skills both written and verbal, to present a professional image which resonates with our target audience and community.
  • Passionate about your subject, creative, innovative and willing to appear on camera!
  • A passion for and understanding of social media.
  • Proactive in reaching and engaging consumers and trade to provide product know-how.
  • Confident working independently but also thrives being part of a collaborative environment, working in a team to brainstorm ideas.

Desirable experience:

  • Experience of social copywriting within a similar or related industry
  • Previous experience within a customer service focused position using social media sites and an understanding of social media tools

Office based in Welwyn Garden City with free parking, with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm but this role will require flexibility with out of hours work to accommodate social media responsiveness.

Part time administrator 5.5 hours a week Mondays only 

We are looking for a confident administrator with great Excel skills and an aptitude for logical thinking to export sales orders from one online platform and import into another via excel spreadsheets. This is a role that requires attention to detail to ensure 100% accuracy. There may also be other routine admin jobs involved. 

Office based in Welwyn Garden City with free parking. 

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm but this role is specifically every Monday 9am to 3pm with a half hour for lunch
